Special educators are drowning in paperwork. Districts carry the audit risk.
Case managers are certified educators, not data-entry clerks. When weekends go to 30-page psych evaluations and goals copied from last year, vague baselines and missed 60-day clocks follow.

Why generic IEPs fail state monitoring and hearing officers.
In Endrew F. v. Douglas County School District RE-1 (2017) the Supreme Court held unanimously that an IEP must be reasonably calculated to enable progress appropriate in light of the child's circumstances. Boilerplate goals without baselines rarely survive that test.

Questions districts ask
How does TPA Ventures comply with FERPA?
TPA Ventures operates as a school official under the FERPA exception at 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1)(i)(B). The district keeps direct control of the records, we use them only to provide the service, student data is hosted only in U.S. data centers, and it is never sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. We sign the SDPC National Data Privacy Agreement and state addenda.
Does TPA Ventures replace the IEP team?
No. TPA Ventures produces structured first drafts of PLAAFPs, goals, accommodations and Prior Written Notices for certified staff to review. Eligibility, services and placement remain decisions of the IEP team described in 34 CFR § 300.321, including parents. Every drafted sentence links back to the evaluation data it came from.
Which state academic standards are supported?
Goals align to the standards your state adopted, including the Common Core State Standards, Texas TEKS, Florida B.E.S.T., the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards, the California Content Standards and the remaining state frameworks, plus functional and adaptive domains that have no academic standard.
How does it integrate with our existing SIS and IEP system?
TPA Ventures reads rosters and case data through OneRoster, Ed-Fi or vendor exports, and writes finished narratives, goals and PWN drafts back into PowerSchool Special Programs, Frontline, SEIS, Infinite Campus and 12 other systems. Most districts are live in under 48 hours.
Can SLPs, OTs and school psychologists use it?
Yes. Related service providers get their own drafting views for articulation, language, fine motor, sensory and mobility goals, and school psychologists can push evaluation summaries straight into the case manager's PLAAFP draft. Seats are unlimited on every plan.
What does TPA Ventures cost for a district our size?
A single building starts at $3,500 per year. Districts pay $45 per active IEP per year on District Core, and $32 to $38 on District Enterprise above 750 IEPs. Every plan includes unlimited users and is billed on your July 1 to June 30 fiscal year.
Cut IEP drafting time by 60% while strengthening legal defensibility.
